Future prospects

While still heavily focused on the development opportunities within the leisure residential market, in 2007 - 2008 Eurosilex will establish new development and investment opportunities in the city centres of both Sofia and Varna. These will consist of mixed use (residential/commercial) complexes. Land negotiation is already in process. With the lowest corporate tax rate (10%) in Europe, which commenced January 2007, we believe the country is well positioned for relocation of many multinationals. As a result, we are looking to create a portfolio of property products to capitalise on this opportunity.

Based on the ever growing popularity of Bulgaria as a prime location both for overseas property investment and tourism, as well as the projected growth of the commercial sector, we very much consider Bulgaria our core base to which we remain committed for the long term. And, as the prosperity of Bulgarian nationals increases, based on the favorable conditions achieved through EU membership, international investment, tourism and an increased GDP, we will look to develop residential projects for the local Bulgarian market.

Our longer-term vision is to utilise our capabilities and our Bulgarian business model to further expand into new emerging markets (Brazil, Mexico, Morocco…), as well as further leverage the company’s sales operations in established markets like France and the United Kingdom.
